Best time to visit – It is difficult to decide the best time to visit Hong Kong. Rainy season should be highly avoided. Theoretically, the moths of March, April, October, and November are the best months. However, there are chances of the typhoon in October and cold winds in November.
Places of attraction
It is a hill on the western side of the city. Having an elevation of 552 m or 1181 feet, it is the highest hill in Hong Kong. It is famous for its skyline and waterfront view.
Hong Kong Disneyland
This iconic amusement park is spread over an area of 68 acres. This famous theme park has 7 areas with rides, shows and costumed characters. Located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland resort, it is owned and managed by ‘Hong Kong International Theme Parks’. Timings to visit this theme park are from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. it was opened on 12th September 2005.
Tsim Sha Tsui
This urban area in Hong Kong is famous for shopping and its nightlife. Luxury malls, casual eateries, and electric shops are the main center of attraction. This place is also home to many museums.
It is an animal theme park with rides and wild animals. It is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong after Disneyland. Built in an area of 226 acres, it was opened on 10th January 1977. It receives 7.7 million visitors each year. Timings to visit this park are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tian Tan Buddha
Located on the top of a hill, it is a large bronze statue of Buddha. You need to ascend through 260 steps to reach here. It symbolizes the harmonious relationship between man and nature. Opened in 1993, the statue has a height of 34 m. timing to visit this iconic Buddha statue is 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day.
